Overview
This policy explains what information Truitas collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to operate a defensible system of record and to provide the Service.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and organization details.
- Agreement content — the terms, milestones, and parties you enter.
- Signature & audit metadata — timestamps, IP addresses, device/user-agent strings, and content hashes captured when actions are taken.
- Payment information — processed and stored by our payment provider; we retain only references and status.
- Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- To build and preserve the tamper-evident record of the packets you generate.
- To process subscription billing and send transactional emails.
- To respond to support and security requests.
Audit integrity
Packet and audit metadata are integral to the evidentiary value of the Service. Because altering or deleting these records would undermine their purpose, they are retained for finalized packets and cannot be selectively edited. This is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashing of audit records. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting the integrity of your records is the core of what we do.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete certain personal information. Note that records tied to executed agreements may be retained for their evidentiary purpose. To make a request, contact our team.
